I grew up in Germany, and lived there until the age of 20. I played for the German National Golf Team for 8 years and came to the United States on a golf scholarship from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. I competed from 2002-2006 with the Tulane Golf Team. I also played a fifth year in 2007 with the San Jose State University Golf Team, because I was given an extra year of eligibility due to Hurricane Katrina. Upon finishing my collegiate career I felt a strong desire to stay connected to the game of golf. I initially decided to go on tour, but then became very enthusiastic about sharing my experiences, love for the game, and years of training with other people. Golf has so many interesting and challenging aspects and throughout always reminds us about one very fundamental aspect: respect. I feel extremely lucky to be able to play golf, to have played in exciting top events in Europe and in the United States and the mostly to have met so many people and made wonderful friendships all over the world.
